We will never reach what is necessary if we do not challenge current practice.
The Home.Earth Foundation is a new foundation with an ambitious vision to drive systemic change in the built environment.
The Home.Earth Foundation is a charitable commercial foundation with a purpose to, directly or indirectly, promote inclusive and sustainable urban real estate development by
safeguarding and promoting the activity carried out by Home.Earth K/S from time to time;
and investing in and/or supporting other ventures, projects, research and development etc. which, directly or indirectly, contribute to sustainability, diversity, livability and affordability in the urban environment.
"While only 2% of all philanthropy is directed toward climate and sustainability, the Home.Earth Foundation is taking it further by placing the climate agenda at the core of its mission."
Morten Jensen, chairman of the board
The Home.Earth Foundation has a central role in the Home.Earth structure.
The Foundation holds the purpose of Home.Earth and has a veto right on changes to the purpose. This is done to safeguard the purpose and ensure Home.Earth remains focused on long-lasting positive impact for all stakeholders.
The Foundation owns one B-Interest in Home.Earth K/S that has 35% of the total voting rights in Home.Earth K/S. Furthermore, the B-Interest entitles the Foundation to receive an annual “Purpose Allocation”, which is 6% of the Total Annual Equity Return of Home.Earth K/S.
The Foundation will support projects in line with the Purpose of the Foundation. Given limited funds in the Foundation, at this point in time, it is currently not possible to apply for donations from the Foundation.
Updates regarding donations will be communicated by the Foundation as they become available.
