Earth overshoot day

This week we reached Earth Overshoot Day in Denmark and Finland

Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity's demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year. This is a occasion to pause and reflect about the fact that we - as a global population - at present consume resources as if we had 1.7 planets. And it's a day to reevaluate if we - all of us - do enough to reverse this trend. We can do better.
