Based on the theory of Circular Economy developed by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, this book is intended to be a guide for everyone with an interest in the potentials of applying circular economy principles at different levels of construction. It explores the synergies that arise from combing circularity with industrialized construction. You are provided with principles, methods, and tools to draw knowledge from and use in your work with exploring and incorporating circular principles in construction across design, development of material declarations, a new business models and a new perspective on circular life cycle assessment.
We strongly believe in the rights to copy, which is why this book and its tools is an open-source project. You can download it for free from our website, along with a collection of resources and tools to help you measure circularity and set concrete targets based on planetary boundaries. This is our way of helping you make construction more sustainable and within the limits of our planet.

The project is the result of a collaborative effort between Vandkunsten and Home.Earth, as well as scientific experts from TU Delft, BUILD - Aalborg University, Technical University of Denmark, and industry professionals from EFFEKT and Sweco.
